But back to the basics: The Kodak Zi8 does one thing and one thing well and that is shoot full HD video at 1080p at 30 frames per second and the resulting video is amazing and easy to hook up to a big screen TV the memories I have made with this pocket sized camera is just wonderful.

Image stabilization is another feature that added a whole lot of value to this pocket video buy for me, as without it my videos are really really shaky. I tried to shoot without the image stabilization and the difference between the two is amazing. I definitely need and appreciate the image stabilization feature that the Kodak Zi8 pocket video camera offers.

The Kodak Zi8 is the best pocket camera I have bought and I use it more than I thought I would as it’s easy to bring with me. I just slip it into my pocket and I have video recording to go.

But if there’s one feature where the Kodak Zi8 really shines it’s the fact that the memory available is expandable – using the SD card slot you can use up to 32GB of SD/SDHC memory cards which will get you up to ten hours of recording time. And it that’s not enough for you all you have to do is add more memory to get even more recording time

The image stabilization is another nice feature that I found handy as I drink way too much coffee and my hands shake all the time, but with the image stabilization turned on all I had no problem getting videos that looked as if they were shot by pros.

The Kodak Zi8 is big improvement and I think the best portable video camera on the market today that you can buy that won’t break the bank account but still offers the features I wanted.

All I have to do to send my videos to my friends is flip out the USB connector which makes the Flip Ultra HD the best digital camera I have ever used as there’s no cables I have to carry and I connect the camera to my computer and use the included flip video software to quickly and easily share my videos.
