iPad accessories will certainly be helpful if you are the happy owner of an iPad. Two of the most well known types of iPad accessories are cases and stands. These accessories are very useful.

Any iPad owner will definitely need a case in order to protect it and keep it as new for a very long time. iPad stands will let you read and use your iPad more comfortably and efficiently. What if you can have both accessories incorporated into a single great accessory? Buy an iPad folding case and you will end up with a case that will also be able to act as a stand. The great thing is you will also be able to find pretty cheap such iPad folios.

For example you can buy a great iPad folding cover for less than 20 dollars. The Built-in Stand Leather Carrying Case Cover from AGPtek will offer you great comfort. Wherever you will be using your iPad (on a desk, table, in your lap) you will be able to use your iPod at its maximum capabilities. When used as a stand this case will have the option of several different viewing angles. This will let you enjoy your media at any point.

When deciding what case you will buy you should not only take the structure of the case into consideration. The aspect of the case is also very important. You will find iPad folding cases in many forms and made out of a diversity of materials. If you are the elegant type you might want to buy one of the many leather iPad cases that are available now. On the other hand, if you prefer more colorful accessories you will find both leather and other material cases that are very colorful. See this list of best iPad covers and cases for more details on some fo the best options right now.

Even if it may seem strange at first, accessories are very important in order for you to really enjoy the iPad. The great thing about them is that a wide variety is available. You may choose to buy accessories that will make your iPad look hippie, or that will make it look serious, and the sum you pay varies immensely. If you are on a budget you will find cases and stands that cost less than 20 dollars. On the other hand, if you like expensive unique accessories you will have to pay more than a hundred dollars.

It is all your choice.

Books play an important role in our lives: we use them at school and work for studying; we read them for pleasure and entertainment and, of course, books have handed down knowledge through the generations.

There are, however, two significant problem with books: they are bulky and they take up a lot of space. To overcome this problem, electronic book readers have started to become popular. Devices, such as Amazon’s Kindle, allow you to store and read many books. You can even purchase them over the internet and have them instantly available.

So, if you’re a fan of books, what should you look out for in an electronic book reader?

Display. This is probably the most important. If you’ve used a computer for any length of time, you will know that the glare of the screen can hurt your eyes after a while. Some e-book readers have a similar screen, so they make not be good to use for extended periods of time. The Kindle has a screen using ‘e-ink’. This actually makes the display closer to the look of ink on paper, making it a lot easier on the eyes.

Books. It’s no good having an e-book reader, if you don’t have any books available. Make sure whichever device you buy has a good selection of books. In addition, there is lots of reading material available on the Internet that is in pdf format. Can you add your own pdf files onto the device?

Feel. There is something about holding a book in your hands and flicking through the pages. None of the devices, so far, have been able to emulate this look and feel. They have, however, paid a lot of attention to the ergonomics and how they device feels in your hand and the controls for turning the page. Will you be able to use it comfortably?

The Kindle is probably the best e-book reader available at the moment. However, with the release of Apple’s iPad will it still be able to maintain it’s advantage. Find out more about the iPad vs Kindle.

There are several accessories available for the new Apple iPad. Apple’s other popular products, the iPhone and iPod , work with several basic accessories such as the Dock Connector to USB Cable, USB Power Adapter, and a dock. The iPad is compatible with similar accessories, and features even new additions.

The major input and output of the iPad is the 30 pin dock connector. When you open up the box of a brand new iPad, you will find two iPad accessories; the Dock Connector to USB Cable and a 10W USB Power Adapter. The cable allows you to connect the iPad directly to a USB port to charge and sync the iPad through the computer. You can also connect the cable to the power adapter, which allows you to charge your iPad directly through an electrical outlet that is up to six feet away from your device.

The iPad dock is another major accessory that offers versatility for your device. The iPad dock allows for multiple and simultaneous tasks such as charging and syncing. Additionally, the iPad dock’s audio jack can be connected to external devices such as speakers. The dock is also compatible with the iPad Camera Connection Kit, which is the next accessory we’re going to review.

The iPad Camera Connection Kit provides the option of importing digital photos and videos directly from a camera to the iPad. There are two versions of the camera connection kit, and both of them have a 30 pin dock connector. The only difference is that one version has a USB interface and the other has an SD card slot.

Priced at $69, the iPad Keyboard Dock offers the same features as the standard dock. Apple specifically designed the full-size keyboard for the iPad, with new function keys such as home, search, volume and brightness control. The iPad is also compatible with a bluetooth keyboard, such as the Apple Wireless Keyboard, for those who want wireless controls over their device.

Don’t forget about the last accessory, the iPad case, which offers protection and ergonomic comfort for handling the device.

I must admit to being at least a little bit curious about the new iPad from Apple. But, not curious enough to stay awake nights wondering if it was really just a rumor, and what it would actually be like. I wasn’t even curious enough to watch Steve Jobs announcement about it on the day it was released. I just watched it yesterday, and to be honest, part of me was impressed, and the other part of me was slightly bored.

Of course, there has to be a bit of chest thumping at these things, to keep the die hard Apple lovers enthralled, so I’ll put up with it for a bit. I guess I would take the time to toot my own horn, if I had a captive audience as well. Fortunately it didn’t last long, and they eventually got the good stuff. The actual iPad itself. Now, before I get overly crusty and critical let me just say right from the beginning, that I thing the iPad is a grand idea. And, a bit of a tricky product to get right. It is tough finding something that fits in between a smart phone and a laptop. And, I agree with Mr. Jobs, that a netbook is probably not that item. But, I’m not sure the iPad is either. At least not as it currently is.

Two big glaring missing items on the iPad at announcement time, were of course the camera and phone capabilities. Now, don’t get me wrong, I know this thing is too big to hold next to your ear like a iPhone, but it does have bluetooth, and with a bluetooth headset, this could be a great phone. If they went so far as to a webcam on the screen side, it would be extremely cool for skype and other video chatting applications. It really does need two cameras on it though I think. A good one on the backside (non screen side) for taking pictures and video, and a basic (at least) webcam quality one on the screen side.

Now, of course there has been much ado about whether or not the iPad will ship with a camera or not. The spies are everywhere, reporting on suppliers delivering camera parts that would be suitable for the iPad to Apple, and eagle eyes, who noticed that a number of the applications on the iPad seemed to have photo taking options included. I think, it’s safe to say that at some point, the iPad will have at least one camera, and phone capability. Perhaps not this coming March, but some incarnation of the iPad will have it all.

The other quibble I had with the iPad, had to be the screen keyboard. I really don’t know about this thing. Sure, it’s bigger but even Steve and the other guys typing on the iPad soft screen keyboard were any threat to Mavis Beacons speed records. And I kept thinking during the entire iWorks section of the presentation when they were showing all the word processor documents, that there was no way anyone typed those in using an iPad. Way to slooooooooooowwwwwwww. But, the one accessory that did jump out for me was the docking station with built in keyboard. Now, that’s a good idea.

So, I must say in summary, that the iPad has the potential to be an amazing machine. With a few more items (camera/phone). I think this is a tough challenge for the folks at Apple. The iPad didn’t wow me the way the iPhone did. We’ve seen all this touch screen stuff before. All the cool scrolly stuff with your finger that was pioneered with the iPhone, is now being done by everyone and their dog. And that’s no surprise either. That stuff is not going to bowl us over anymore. While the iPhone was a revolutionary product, I think the iPad is only an evolutionary one. A natural progression from the iPhone and iPod touch. A necessary step I believe, but nothing that will have me reaching for my wallet on day 1.
